Toys : RescueRigger addins
A number of rope rescue trainers use RescueRigger as a tool to create visual
models of rope systems, both to show students how they work and to test the forces on complex rigging. We sometimes use
it for simple setups as our in-house modeling software is overkill for a 3:1 pull, but often have to make our own add-in
items of gear as the standard collection tends to be biased to the US 'surface' high-angle rescue market. For users of
RescueRigger 6, some of our add-ins are available here - the addins are entirely free but will only work with
version 6 of the software. They're supplied with no warranty or guarantee of any form. RescueRigger is commercial
software and you must own a licensed copy in order to use these files. All the downloads are ZIP compressed - simply
extract the contents into the Rescuerigger Addins folder, which is normally located at C:\Program Files\Iterum\RescueRigger\Addins,
and open the software to install them into your gear panel.
Double pulley (Troll)

A double swingcheek rescue pulley in the symmetrical
Troll design with becket. Accepts two ropes and gear connecting to both ends.
ISC ascender

The cast alloy handled rope clamp produced by
ISC and branded for Troll, Miller and SAR amongst others. Accepts a single rope and gear connected to both ends.
Pro Allp tech descender

The Pro Allp descender with a fitted
karabiner (RescueRigger can't connect properly to the device itself). Friction is adjusted via the item properties.
Singing Rock Locker

Similar in design and function to the Troll Rocker,
this is a fall arrest device but can operate as a rope clamp. Connects to rope and gear. Overload slipping action cannot be modeled in RR6.
Sewn eye rope termination

A simple soft eyelet stitched termination for
rope - smaller and stronger than a knot. The eyelet accepts non-open gear so it can be fixed directly to rings or anchors.
Quadra descender

The combination descender/belay device from
Heightec, configured in descending mode.
Rock pillar

A column of rock configured as an anchor point,
representing stal columns or pillars in mine workings. Accepts multiple ropes and webs, with a wrap-3-pull-2 layout.
Trench Strut pack (ZIP compressed files)

An adjustable screw-type trench strut (prop)
configured as an anchor point. As it's impossible to connect ropes in the conventional way to both ends of an item, the strut
is supplied as two sections - simply position them next to each other as required. A slight glitch in RR6 makes the image stacking
order break down when the strut is rotated, so a second short rod (marked 'H') is also included. This should be used
for horizontal layouts.
Invisible join

An invaluable item to connect RescueRigger webbing or rope
into a loop - acts as a knot of 100% strength - for creating roundslings without a visible join. Use 'Float gear' (F9) to align. A square
placeholder is used so you can still grab it.
